New York, NY (December 8, 2025) – The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) is thrilled to welcome Carson Vickrey as the new Director of Business Development effective immediately.

Carson Vickrey is a leader in live entertainment strategic partnerships, brand marketing, and event production. Most recently, she served as Director of Marketing and Events at Marauder, where she worked across the independent music ecosystem and created campaigns that generated millions of dollars in client revenue and valuable industry connections.
Carson has been a featured speaker at Indie Week, Music Biz, and SXSW, and has been cited as an expert source in music industry publication Pollstar. Her experience includes work with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and music marketing technology companies, bringing deep expertise in sponsorship sales, activation strategy, and building partnerships across both the label and venue landscapes.
Across all her work, Carson prioritizes initiatives that create meaningful impact for the independent music community.
