A2IM + AIR Announce Program for Inaugural Indie Week Australia Edition

New York, NY (June 24, 2025) - Today, A2IM (The American Association of Independent Music, Inc.) with AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) have announced programming for the inaugural Indie Week Australia edition, taking place in Adelaide, July 30 during the annual Indie-Con Australia Conference, July 30 - August 1.

Indie Week Australia will feature speakers from labels such as Oh Boy Records, EMPIRE, Hopeless Records, Rough Trade, FADER Label, Secretly Group (U.S.), Symphonic Distribution and organizations such as Rhymesayers, Go Digital, Better Noise, CoSynd, and many more.

Topics will include: Global Growth: Expanding Traditional Markets, Glocalisation, The Back Catalog Blueprint: From Old Tracks to New Profits, Deal Making in the Age of AI as well as a special Keynote with Jody Whelan (Oh Boy Records,) and an In Conversation with Dr. Richard James Burgess (A2IM, President and CEO).

A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition kicks off three days of programming including Indie-Con Australia Conference, featuring 24 sessions with a mix of panels, workshops and one on one meetings, over 90 speakers featuring global music industry experts, label representatives, independent artists & journalists, and representatives from over 70 different companies.
