Recent Highlights from Nettwerk Music Group
Nettwerk kicked off 2026 with the release of one of its most compelling debut albums in recent memory: 'Bloodline,' the first full-length from Mon Rovîa. The album marks a significant moment not only for the artist, but for the label, introducing a voice that is already resonating globally while remaining grounded in craft and intention.

Produced by Cooper Holzman (Angel Olsen, Devendra Banhart), 'Bloodline' is a 16-track body of work that blends Appalachian folk traditions with modern soul. Through warm vocals and clear, narrative songwriting, Mon Rovîa explores themes of belonging, ancestry, and healing, creating an album that feels personal yet widely accessible.

Born in Liberia and now based in Tennessee, Mon Rovîa draws from a life shaped by displacement, movement, and spiritual searching. Rather than leaning heavily into autobiography, his songwriting frames those experiences as a shared emotional foundation, allowing listeners to connect through story and atmosphere.

Beyond the stage, Mon’s work carries a consistent humanitarian throughline. In 2025, he headlined the ACLU’s Creatives for Freedom benefit alongside Sheryl Crow, Maggie Rogers, and Joy Oladokun, and appeared at the Children in Conflict annual event with Common and Natasha Bedingfield, hosted by John Oliver. He was also the first-ever musical guest on The Mel Robbins Podcast and was featured in NPR’s coverage of rising TikTok protest anthems surrounding “Heavy Foot.”

As 'Bloodline' continues to connect with audiences globally and Mon embarks on a sold-out UK and European tour, the album underscores a clear trajectory. 'Bloodline' positions Mon Rovîa as an artist with meaningful momentum and as a release that sets a strong tone for Nettwerk’s year ahead.
